Contact Person/Organization
The Rise Memorial Foundation's Board of Directors currently consists of the earliest project team members and certain family members of the five young men who tragically passed away. Membership in the society is available to the public, and applications for membership can be requested at contact@risememorial.com. The only requirement for membership is a desire to see the vision and stewardship of the RISE Memorial Gardens continue.
Please contact the Board if you notice an issue or problem with the website or memorial gardens; would like to make a one-time or ongoing donation toward the maintenance and upkeep of the memorial or the website; have a project idea or event proposal, wish to collaborate on the space, or are interested in getting involved with the society as a member or director.
The main point of contact is the Secretary-Treasurer, currently Kelly Hutchinson, who can be reached at 778-214-9710 or the email provided above.
Help us continue to Rise
As a publicly funded and donation-led non-profit initiative, every effort was made to ensure the maximum amount of dollars went directly to support the actual construction of the gardens. However, to keep the site in the same condition it was at the time of unveiling, and to keep the legacy of the memorial alive, constant resources need to be allocated to its ongoing maintenance.
Further to this, the Rise Memorial Foundation needs to retain some contingency monies to fund replacement costs in the unfortunate event of vandalism or damage. Lastly, future projects and our digital assets like this very website come with a cost!
If you would like to make a contribution to the Rise Memorial Foundation’s endowment, please contact the Board of Directors at contact@risememorial.com.
